HCL Technologies, a leading global technology company, announced the addition of two new IoT-driven solutions, Real-time In-premise Insights (RII) and Dynamic Ecosystem of Connected Devices (DECoDe), on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store providing applications and services for use on Azure. With this, HCL Technologies and Microsoft clients have access to a total of four IoT-driven solutions to leverage their digital transformation journey.
The two new solutions, along with the existing Real-time Manufacturing Insights (RMI) and Geospatial Linear Asset Management (GLAM) solutions, are designated as IP co-sell incentivized offerings. Running on Azure, these HCL solutions are designed to drive scalability, flexibility and cost competitiveness in the client IoT roadmap.
RII uses radar-sensing technology and camera imaging to capture accurate real-time insights and location data of people or assets within the premises and represents them on web-based dashboards in the form of powerful and correlated retail insights, heat maps, and trend reports to facilitate quick, tactical and strategic decision-making. As a device management solution, DECoDe offers an accurate and integrated view of an enterprise’s IoT ecosystem from a consolidated dashboard. This permits enterprises to enhance user experience, consolidate device management, optimize operational efficiency and utilize predictive maintenance to enable better management of IoT ecosystem.
These solutions are a result of the seamless collaboration between HCL Technologies and Microsoft, tapping into the core of HCL’s value system of providing tailored and end-to-end solutions aimed at solving critical customer challenges.
“The presence of four key IoT solutions on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace underlines HCL Technologies’ commitment to driving value through the joint strategic initiative with Microsoft,” said Sukamal Banerjee, Corporate Vice President, IoT WoRKS™, HCL Technologies. “Combined with the scalability and flexibility introduced by Azure, these IoT-led innovative solutions and managed services capabilities will help our customers realize their digital transformation roadmaps for the future.”
“Through Microsoft Azure Marketplace, customers around the world can easily find, buy, and deploy partner solutions they can trust, all certified and optimized to run on Azure,” said Jake Zborowski, General Manager, Microsoft Azure Platform at Microsoft. “We’re happy to welcome HCL’s solutions to the growing Azure Marketplace ecosystem.”
For HCL Technologies and Microsoft, this is another milestone toward establishing and nurturing a powerful joint GTM strategy for the future – combining innovation, scalability and increased reach into the global market. These solutions are positioned to help scale the IoT ecosystems and drive value for multiple industries including manufacturing, healthcare, retail, energy and utilities.
