Roles and Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the ERP Enterprise Application.
- Creating scripts to generate the data for reports developed in Oracle reports as per user requirements.
- Creating Oracle Database objects based on the new requirement (Tables,Indexes, views, partitions, constraints, triggers etc.,)
- Writing SQL, PL/SQL programs, Packages, Stored procedures, Functions and Triggers to automate the interface processes for daily/incremental loads.
- Responsible for preparing the migration and deployments scripts for UAT as well as PRODUCTION environments.
- Coordinating with ERP Application support and application team for issues and concerns.
- Experience in Database Design, Database programming, SQL and Database Tuning and Performance Tuning, Trouble shooting, maintenance.
- Performance tuning of statements and provide recommendations
- Efficient use of indexes and table design in a normalized environment
- Exposure to use of Erwin Database design tool
- Creating jobs and schedules them to run on the specific times, Setting up email notifications for failure and other events.
- Write high quality and well-documented code according to accepted
- standards based on user requirements using PL/SQL, , Oracle Forms/Reports, ADF Framework.
- Extensively used SQL joins, Oracle Analytic and Grouping functions for data analysis.
- Requirements gathering from Specs, Users/PM’s and documentation, data cleansing and extraction, report design, testing and implementation over the production.
- Making sure all the batch job/s are working with no issues as data and performance wise and available for the business.
- Test and debug program units in conjunction with other units and/or systems
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Performing analysis of large data sets and derive insight.
- Ready to learn new technologies required in the project.
- Able to interpret AWR, ADDM report, Oracle query running, DBA and Oracle package understanding.
- Good knowledge on read explain plans and generate SQL advisory reports.
- Development of high quality database solutions
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
- Ability to write new PL/SQL queries for new projects

- Experience with Oracle 10g, 11g and 12c
