Roles and Responsibilities:

• The MYSQL Consultant will be responsible for security management (logins, users, database/server roles and granting/revoking permissions). He/ She would provide assistance to the application team in indentifying database problems.
• The candidate would resolve critical issues with proper analysis and share the root cause analysis with permanent fix.
• The responsibility will include managing MYSQL Server in (Development, testing and production) environments.
• The MYSQL Consultant will support the database on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Regular review and updates/report of Build Guides, Runbooks, SOPs and Vendor advisories

Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Should have 5-7 Years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in MySQL database management and good understanding of MySQL’s underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM
• The candidate should have worked and managed clouds based databased infrastructure.
• Uderstanding of Unix administration to manage the database independenty.
• Extensive work experience in high availability and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., AlwaysOn, Clustering, Mirroring, Logshipping and Replication).
