Roles and Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers, with a focus on Oracle database servers and middleware application server.
• Proficient with RHEL and Suse Linux and AIX OS administration && Detailed knowledge of UNIX principles, file editing, UNIX commands, and file manipulation & Good knowledge on Patching Linux servers & Hands on experience on Linux LVM and KVM-RHV
• Troubleshooting LINUX L3 administration skillsTroubleshooting, Problem solvingManaging disks, Filesystem Package, Patch management (installation, remove, verify) Log file verificationUser, group managementDisk mirroring knowledge, RaidLINUX Cluster skills (additional )
• Incident handling Problem resolution Create change requests for product defects and attend change meetings as needed Create and implement change requests for incidents/problems as needed Attend change meetings as required and discuss technical aspects with approver Verify that no new issues have occurred after production update Deploy & Provide (Deployment) Support in Product planning activities Manage Service Delivery (execute direct orders, respond to standard requests)
• Knowledge on Ansible Event Management (analyze alerts and logs)

Technical and Professional Expertise:

• 10 to 12 years of related infrastructure experienceProcess and Technical skills required LINUX installation, setup, runtime operational support
• Ensure that all operation changes are performed by following the Change Management Process. Support in Product planning activities. Creating, planning, co-ordinating Change activities as per defined processes.
• Perform system administration tasks such as user management, disk management, file system tuning, and backup/restore
• The following skills are of extra merit: Programming (Perl, Unix shell)
