Roles and Responsibilities
- Interact with business and IT stakeholders and bring in best practices in Pharma manufacturing.
- To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions
- To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
- To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
- To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussion on review
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Gitlab, SVN
- Ability and desire to grow other engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and over-the-shoulder debugging.
- Solid knowledge of native operating system capabilities, app signing and deployment processes, and consumer app best practices
- Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
- Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code
- Keep track of schedule for on time delivery of assigned tasks as per the defined quality standards - Optimize pace and meet deadlines
- Follow established application standards
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least Poly degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ year of experience in application development/testing/analyst. Knowing of Java/Enterprise system will be plus point.
- Android development experience with Java/Kotlin is MUST
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Working experience in Android development
- Proficient with Java and Kotlin languages
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Experience with third-party libraries and familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Experience around SDLC and agile
