HCLTech has developed an interoperability platform that connects the Single Online Home (SOH), the national website for policing in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, with the Greater Manchester Police force system. This platform enables the seamless data exchange and integration between the two systems, resulting in improved efficiency and customer services for both the GMP and the public. HCLTech also developed an innovative and interoperable crime recording and management solution for GMP.

“Our partnership with the Greater Manchester Police has helped us develop new solutions and capabilities for the force that enables GMP to access the right data at the right time and in the required format,” said Ashish K Gupta, Chief Growth Officer, Europe and Africa, Diversified Industries, HCLTech. “This has led to faster crime record management and resolution of citizens’ queries and complaints.”

“Marple has been hugely successful since it was introduced to GMP. It has enabled us to reduce the time it takes to input crimes into our system by 50 percent. Staff within the Force Contact, Crime and Operations Branch have commented on how much more efficiently activities now run in the branch, thanks to the streamlined approach of the Marple interface. It is extremely rewarding to see GMP and our digital technical partners HCLTech get the recognition they deserve,” said Chris Sykes, Assistant Chief Constable, Greater Manchester Police.
