Company named one of a select number of launch partners for Microsoft’s next big step toward modernizing the digital contact center
SEATTLE, Wash. And NOIDA, India – July 19, 2022 – HCL Technologies (HCL), a leading global technology company, has entered into a collaboration with Microsoft to launch the new Digital Contact Center platform, which is expected to deliver a broad digital transformation of customer service operations across industries. To facilitate the initial product launches for new and existing customers, Microsoft has appointed a select group of eight Global System Integrators (GSIs) from its vast partner network and publicly announced the collaborations during today’s Microsoft Inspire event.
This far-reaching solution extends beyond customer service operations. The center brings crucial benefits like tangible improvements in critical metrics, immediate realization of cost savings and potential revenue generation through upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Microsoft’s recent acquisition of Nuance Communications, a global technology company focused on developing innovative solutions for speech recognition and AI software, serves to strengthen its pursuit of the ultimate all-in-one solution, particularly in terms of voice and its mature conversational AI capabilities. The Digital Contact Center platform also draws on several components of the Microsoft technology stack, including Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, Teams and Customer Voice.
“We’re excited to be involved in the launch of the Digital Contact Center platform because we recognize the inherent value it brings to our customers,” said Ajit Moodliar, Senior Vice President and Global Business Head, Microsoft Ecosystem Business Unit, HCL Technologies. “It was designed for customer care delivery, but it will absolutely transform service operations in finance, field service, supply chain, order management, sales, marketing and commerce.
HCL Technologies already has several customers queued up for delivery of the new platform, including a global manufacturing company and a UK-based financial services firm, helping to ensure a smooth product launch for Microsoft. “We’re pleased to work with HCL Technologies for the launch of its new digital contact centers. Using our tools, HCL Technologies will pave the way toward elevated customer service, and we’re looking forward to seeing enterprises across sectors benefit from this reimagined experience,” said Charles Lamanna, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft.
