ERP Specialist
Job Summary
The ERP Specialist plays a crucial role in the management and optimization of the ERP application, ensuring its effective installation, administration, and continuous improvement. This role significantly contributes to the organization s operational efficiency by collaborating with functional teams to meet quality requirements and project timelines, while also enhancing system performance and user satisfaction.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Administer The Erp System In A Production Environment, Ensuring Optimal Performance And Availability Through Effective Configuration And Maintenance Of The Application.
2. Monitor And Assess The Impact Of New Software Releases, Support Packs, And Kernel Upgrades On The Erp Application And Its Users, Facilitating Seamless Transitions And Enhancements.
3. Manage Database Optimization And Perform Tasks Related To Backup And Recovery Using Tools Like Oracle Database And Sql Server, Ensuring Data Integrity And Availability.
4. Conduct Troubleshooting At Both The Erp And Database Levels, Employing Analytical Skills To Identify And Resolve Issues Efficiently.
5. Train Team Members On Erp Functionalities And Best Practices, Fostering Knowledge Transfer And Enhancing Team Capabilities To Support The Erp System Effectively.Skill Requirements
1. Expertise In Erp Data Management With A Solid Understanding Of Erp Systems And Their Functionalities.
2. Proficiency In Database Management And Optimization Techniques, Particularly With Oracle Database And Sql Server.
3. Strong Troubleshooting Skills For Erp Applications And Associated Databases.
4. Excellent Communication And Training Abilities To Effectively Convey Complex Information To Team Members.Certification
1. Relevant Certifications Such As Sap Certified Technology Associate Or Oracle Certified Professional (Optional But Valuable).
