Job description:
Very Good experience in onsite-offshore coordination Experience in Mechanical design using CREO. Managing large assemblies and system layout using reference geometry Perform Finite Element Analysis as required (using Ansys/Mechanical) In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, sheet metal forming & operations Assembly and part tolerancing including GD&T Understand and develop system and subsystem requirement specifications for components used within ultra-high and ultra-clean vacuum environments. Develop conceptual and detailed designs using 3D modeling software packages (ProE/Creo, etc.) Perform thermal and structural analysis using finite element analysis software packages (Ansys) Analytical problem-solving skills in the structural, dynamic, thermal, and fluid domains Perform feasibility studies and proof of concepts. Develop test plans for prototypes. Assist with prototype testing & assembly. Interact with manufacturing and service teams to support product transition into manufacturing. Understanding of materials and fabrication techniques for vacuum systems Proficient in 3D solid modeling using CAD, preferably ProE/Creo Thermal, vibrational, and airflow modeling through finite element methods are desirable. Ability to apply engineering tolerance and develop error budgets for components. Be able to work in a multi-discipline and multi-culture global organization. Be flexible and adaptive to adjust project focus based on priority changes. Excellent writing skills and verbal communication Good knowledge of statics, mechanics of materials, fluid flow and heat transfer SEMI (S2, S8) standards/Semiconductor domain experience added advantage
- Key Responsibilities
1. To manage the customer delivery / expectations and the technical team.
2. To design and develop solution for product / project and sustenance delivery.
3. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology.
4. To guide and mentor a team of developers for succesful delivery of project.
5. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
