Job description:
Experience Required: 6-8 years Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with 6-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in Agile methodologies, story creation, and PI events. This role demands a blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to effectively translate business needs into actionable requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Methodologies: - Deep understanding and practical experience with Agile frameworks. - Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and continuous delivery of value.
- Story Creation: - Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive user stories. - Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to gather and define requirements. - Ensure that stories are well-defined and ready for development teams.
- Program Increment (PI) Events: - Knowledgeable in PI planning and execution. - Participate in PI planning sessions to ensure alignment of business goals and technical capabilities. - Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and manage backlogs.
- Business Process Analysis: - Analyze and map current business processes to identify areas for improvement. - Propose solutions and optimizations to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness. - Develop and maintain documentation of business processes and requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: - Engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs and expectations. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide updates. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners.
- Technical Skills and Tools: - Proficiency in business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office Suite. - Experience with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel). - Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
- Communication Skills: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. - Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: - Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems. - Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and interpret data. - Ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. - Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI-PBA are a plus. - Proven track record of delivering successful projects in an Agile environment. Additional Requirements: - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving
