Job description:

Senior level Avaloq Tester

Responsible for all test activities throughout testing life-cycle of Avaloq solutions for key customer accounts, with specific focus on digital applications like Web-banking and Mobile-banking.
Customer facing role requiring excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to manage stress levels in demanding project contexts.

o Define Test Policy and Test Plan
o Provide effort estimations and track the test effort to ensure adequate staffing
o Monitor and control testing activities against planned budget and quality gates
o Report progress to management and client
o Manage client relationship with appropriate communication
o Manage defects and Reporting
o Design, update and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring their reusability
o Manage test environments (baseline definition and maintenance, assessment on environment readiness)
o Manage tools for testing, tracking defects, statistics and requirements coverage reporting
o Document and evaluate the result of the testing, investigate testing deficiencies
o Contribute to continuous improvement of Test Management processes and procedures

Required knowledge in specific software or tools:
Must have:
o Working knowledge of MicroFocus QC/ALM, JIRA, MS Office Suite

Nice to have:
o ISTQB Certification or equivalent

Required education/certificates and technical skills:
Must have:
o In-depth knowledge of Test concepts and methodology
o Experience and strong knowledge of the banking and/or finance industry or other regulatory environments
o Functional knowledge of Web and Mobile banking
o Experience with Avaloq banking system solution

Nice to have:
o Technical knowledge of web and mobile applications
o Experience of testing in Agile context (Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, TDD, BDD, API testing)
