Job description:
SCCM Administration:
- Oversee software distribution of application, packages, task sequences and applications/OS/SQL updates.
- Pro-actively, analyzing, troubleshooting, resolving SCCM client/server related issues to ensure high availability and performance.
- Capable of working off business hours including weekend, and capable to reach the goal withing the time slot allocated.
Patch Management:
- Develop and implement patch management processes to ensure all systems are up-to-date and secure.
- Coordinate with various departments to schedule and deploy patches with minimal disruption.
Software Distribution
- Create, test, and deploy application packages using SCCM.
- Manage application and Operating Systems and applications lifecycle, including updates and retirements.
Operating System Deployment:
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards and policies in the following areas:
- Operating System provisioning along MEM built applications and updates.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Generate and analyses SCCM reports to ensure compliance with IT policies and standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of SCCM processes and configurations.
User Support:
- Provide second and third-level support for SCCM-related issues.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving complex IT incidents and requests.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing SCCM in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with software packaging and deployment.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell or VBScript.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.
- Experience in a utility or similarly regulated industry.
- Knowledge of other Microsoft Endpoint Manager
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.
- Experience with cloud-based services and hybrid environments.
- Understanding of network infrastructure and security principles.
- Proficiency in SQL for custom reporting and queries.
- Experience with endpoint security solutions and antivirus software.
