Job description:
IT Service Delivery Manager with 18+ years of extensive experience in network management, firewall security, data center operations, and end-user computing. The ideal candidate must have Master Degree in IT or Computer Science, and possess certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, AWS Cloud domains.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform the IT services related to networks, firewalls, data centers, and end-user computing with proficiency in network and firewall technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cloudflare, F5 and Juniper etc ensuring high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
Deep understanding of network architecture, firewall configurations, data center management, and end-user computing best practices (not just managerial, but domain hands-on expertise is the key)
Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Optimize and ensure robust data center operations, including server management, virtualization, and disaster recovery planning.
Oversee the end-user computing environment, including desktop support, HAM, SAM and user access management. \\r\\n- Strong knowledge of Moogsoft, SCCM, Intune, Cherwell, Remedy and other remote support , AI driven technologies
Monitor and report on service delivery metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
Strong knowledge of P&L, budgeting, cost management, and financial planning to ensure that service delivery stays within budget and aligns with financial goals.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Source, identify, and engage with top-tier technical talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry associations\\r\\n- Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates\\' technical skills, experience, and cultural fit and perform technical assessments and interviews
Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), regulatory requirements, and company policies.\\r\\n-
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Previous IT procurement experience on global and regional complex projects.
Experienced in running a full RFP, RFI, RFQ process in multiple IT subcategories and services.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master s Degree in Computer Science or IT
Professional certifications such as Prince2, ITIL, CCNA, MCP, CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent.\\r\\n- Experience with cloud platforms and services, including AWS, Azure Familiarity with DevOps practices and their integration with IT service delivery. Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role, delivering IT services and solutions.
