Job description:

The project coordinator organizes and manages the various parts of a project to ensure its success. This includes assigning and monitoring daily tasks and communication, as well as creating reports and updates for the Project manager(s) and other members from the PMO organization at HCL FnG (France & Germany) VDU.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Assist the project manager in the development of project management documents such as project budgets, project schedules, scope statements and project plans
- Help project managers monitor project progress and team members’ performance
- Compile project status reports and provide detailed updates to project managers or other stakeholders, both internal and external
- Coordinate project schedules and meetings
- Facilitate project management administrative and bookkeeping tasks such as managing invoices, purchase orders and inventory reports, among other financial documents
- Coordinate, track and report resource allocations throughout the project life cycle
- Monitor budget compliance and proactively flag to the project management team any budget deviations
- Assist the project manager in the creation, approval, documentation and tracking of any change requests throughout the project life cycle
- Assist the program and project managers with RFP response documentation
- Foster cross-team collaboration to help project team members complete project tasks and produce deliverables
- Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to risk management plan
- Gather and disseminate lessons learned from completed projects
- Maintain project management templates and continuously look for opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
- Fluent in English language
- Experienced in administrative or customer interaction role
- Confident in use of MS Office
- Understanding of project management tools and software
- Knowledge of project management frameworks and processes
- Understanding of budgeting and cost control is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptability and problem solving and attention to detail
- Organized, friendly and communicative
