Job description:
Role Name - Group Technical ManagerSkills Required ITIL Certified, IT infra support, Application SupportExperience Required 12+ years in IT operations Relevant Experience Minimum 8 Years in Management Role in handling Global customers with direct/indirect reporting (50+ resources)Experience of managing First level managers/technical consultantsTechnical Skills - Any IT (Infra, Application support) Technical skills (background) would be an added advantage Technical Certification Any Cisco Technical Certification (Preferred) Location - Resource will be required to work out of customer facility in Bangalore - No exceptions Experience of handling IT Infra teams (Background of managing IT infra or Application support teamsHand on experience on IT Infra and Application support Technolgies preferred Minimum 8+ years experience in customer handling in Manager capacityAn effective communicator with excellent relationship building & interpersonal skills Expertise in spearheading multiple teams and ensuring delivery in compliance to the Cost, Schedule, Scope and Quality parameters Meet the end-to-end Project timelines by ensuring on-time delivery Understand business customer objectives and align the effort to achieve the same. Ability to organize, delegate, and leverage resources to accomplish objectives Strong analytical, problem solving & organizational abilities. Possess a flexible & detail-oriented attitude Discuss with business customer or client to define requirements and deliverables Identify the team, develop project plan to achieve the goal A keen planner, strategist & implementer with demonstrated abilities in IT infrastructure planning and management for streamlining business operations and Organizational and time management skills Strong meeting management and reporting skills with Exceptional Customer service skills and client focus Execute the project plan to meet deliverables Define change control process and implement it stringently Coordinate and integrates project activities, lead the team Identify and quantify all the risks, define mitigation plan and monitor all risks on a weekly basis Define communication plan for all stakeholders, get buy-in for status report format and communicate on defined frequency Solve team conflicts and problem, take corrective actions when problem arises
- To prepare & implement Program Management Plan to deliver the right scope/deliverables for all projects/program within the agreed timelines mentioned in the signed contract in compliance to HCL Global Project Management Framework
- To ensure tracking & adherence to budget allocated to all transition/transformation projects including all one time projects where SOW is created.
- To ensure sign off and billing of milestones for projects/Program completed as per the agreed timelines as per Revenue Projection.
- To drive Program/Projects (large scale) with agreed scope that covers multiple phases and effectively manage risks, issues, key stakeholders, escalations.
- To ensure high customer satisfaction for all assigned Transformation/Transition Projects
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
