Job description:
Roles and Responsibility Being part of global team for support and operation, candidate will be responsible for the support of network Security-based services hosted in Global Data Centers. This can include both the development of new network infrastructure, re-configuration of existing, and on-going systems support. The role will involve working as a technical specialist on projects where one will be required to plan, design and implement network solutions to support specific business applications and services. Apart from this, It is required to manage the teams a different locations as team leader. Guide, Instruct the team to align the goals according to organization and client.Professional/Technical Competencies:Mandatory: Hand-on experience in operation and management of Network Security infrastructure. Cisco Routing and Switching. (CCNA/CCNP Certification) (Primary Skill)- LAN configuration- Vlans, Trunks, port-channels- STP, SPAN, inter VLAN routing. Knowledge of services like HSRP, ARP- Routing Protocols OSPF and BGP- In-depth knowledge of services like DHCP, QoS, NTP, HSRP, VRRP, ARP, NAT, ACL, PBR, GRE tunneling, IP SLA/object tracking and Multicasting.- Advance troubleshooting using TCP packet capture and analyze using Wireshark. Hands on Experience in F5 (LTM & GTM) or Firewall (As secondary Skill) Good level of analytical and trouble-shooting skills in a production environment Ability to handle changes and incidents independently as per the processes and agreed service levels. Ability to communicate (both written & oral) clearly with various internal stakeholders and customers. Should have experience to manage the team. Preparing the shift roster. Managing the individual performance rating. (Monthly, Quarterly and Annually) Tracking the issues, Vulnerability, projects.Highly Desirable:1. Experience on working in a global support environment, experience of ticketing-tools and exposure to ITIL processes in context of service operations is a plus.2. Professional level certification in technologies listed above is desirable. (CCNA and CCNP)3. Experience of providing support to international customers in live environment.4. Flexible for rotational shifts.5. Technical Qualification such as B.E./B.Tech/MCA in a relevant field is desirable.6. Understanding of Load Balancer concept (F5) or Cloud AWS will be added advantage.
- To independently resolve tickets and esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team.
- To provide support for on call escalations orL3 level support and doing incident and problem management
- Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviewsorparticipation in hiring drives.
- To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
- To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases
- To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
