Job description:
JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for someone who applies practical knowledge of development and engineering to conceive, design, develop, test, and implement data extracts, transformation, migration, and uploads. This will be done using modern software development paradigms (e.g., agile, product, cloud). The right candidate must have experience with food & beverage supply chain technology, with deep skills in SQL development in Windows and RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) environments. The ideal candidate will also have report/dashboarding development experience using MicroStrategy Cloud Environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Is responsible for creating data mappings, extracts, transformations, data migration, and uploads.
2. Configures supply chain technology for business use.
3. Owns SQL and script programming, validation, testing, and debugging of applications after data loads.
4. Gathers reporting requirements, designs reports, and develops reports for business use.
5. Creates stories in JIRA backlogs and participates in agile ceremonies.
6. Reviews and writes code that meets set quality gates.
7. Creates/updates documentation for reproducible data loading and configuration.
8. Interacts and coordinates work with other technical and testing groups in the organization.
9. Coordinates team members in finding root-cause of problems and issue resolution.
10. Recommends improvements to processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of the team.

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year
