Job description:
Experience Profile:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related field is required. Post graduate degree a plus
12-15 years of experience in Data Networking, especially in the enterprise campus & Data Center network environment
5+ years of experience in consulting, design, implementation and migration and transformation projects
Excellent hands-on experience on Data Networking technologies and products. Must be hands-on currently.
Experience working in large and multiple data center project.
Experience working on High Level Design, Low Level Design documentation.
Inter-Track consultation with Security, Compute teams and provide end to end solution.
Hands on experience on managing large scale network operations including lifecycle management exercises Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Capacity Management, Release management etc.
Certification Requirement:
CCNA and CCNP, CCIE preferred or any Advanced level certification in one of major networking vendors such as Cisco, HP.
Required Skills:
Top talent that is interested to work on emerging technologies (Cisco SDA/DNAC, Cisco SDWAN, Core R&S etc.).
Strong Routing & Switching skillset is a must.
Excellent knowledge to create network documentation (HLD/LLD/Migration-Implementation plan etc)
Experience with Cisco switching/routing and advance LAN/WAN configuration for highly available systems.
Good working knowledge on routing protocols such as TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP & OSPF.
LAN Switching & SDN technologies ACI OTV, VXLAN, Overlay networks, VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannel, CoS, Fabirc Path and other upcoming switching technologies
Experience with SDN and SDWAN is desired.
Professional expertise in TCP and UDP mechanics including ability to interpret packet captures.
Leader in customer service - professional approach to internal/ external clients
Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrates effective time management skills
Excellent business ethics and integrity
Working Knowledge and implementation, troubleshooting skills on Cisco ACI/SDA/SDWAN
Excellent problem detection and determination skills in multiple functional infrastructure/application areas.
Product Knowledge:
Wireless LAN technologies Cisco Wireless
Cisco DNAC experience for network provisioning and management.
Cisco Catalyst 6500 and other Catalyst Series switches
Cisco Nexus 9K,7K/5K/2K/1K Series of switches
Cisco Cat 9K Fabric enabled switches.
Cisco IOS/Nexus Software
Cisco 4K and 8K ISR and ASR routers.
Local Traffic Manager and Global Traffic Manager (LTM, GTM)
Others:
Guide other consultants and engineers, resolving challenges and ensuring customer success.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, ability to communicate technology strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and Cisco customers.
Strong consulting & client-facing skills to include multi-functional influence, external and internal consulting.
Must be able to conduct technical trainings to internal resources
- To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
- To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions / Reopen Cases
- To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
- To independently resolve tickets & esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team.
- To provide support for on call escalations /L3 level support and doing incident & problem management
- Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update & management, Training freshers, coaching analysts & conducting interviews/participation in hiring
