Job description:
We are a $13+ billion global technology company, home to more than 224,000 people across 60 countries, delivering industry-leading capabilities centered around digital, engineering, cloud, and AI, powered by a broad portfolio of technology services and products.
HCLTech is a globally recognized leader in the Tech and IT industry, but we’ve never forgotten the startup mindset that got us here. We’ve always approached our work with an idea-first attitude because every one of our accomplishments —no matter how big or small —can be traced back to an idea’s single spark.
It’s that spark —that inner drive —that sets our people apart from our competitors. It enables us not just to pull off game-changing feat after game-changing feat but to better our world in the process. We want you to find your spark. Because that’s what drives you to be better, be more and ultimately, be more fulfilled.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Content Development Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing course development projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality technical content. Proficiency in project management tools such as ClickUp and Smartsheet, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
● Manage end-to-end course development projects, from initial planning to final delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
● Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and content creators to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
● Utilize project management tools such as ClickUp and Smartsheet to create project plans, track progress, and manage resources effectively.
● Coordinate and communicate project status updates, milestones, and dependencies to stakeholders and team members.
● Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing proactive solutions to ensure project success.
● Facilitate regular project meetings, including kick-off, status updates, and post-mortem reviews, to drive accountability and alignment.
● Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
● Continuously monitor and evaluate project performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements as needed.
● Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project management staff, supporting their professional development and growth.
● Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical content development and project management, applying new knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., project management, instructional design, computer science) required; advanced degree preferred.
● Proven experience managing complex technical content development projects, preferably in a corporate or educational setting.
● Proficiency in project management tools such as ClickUp and Smartsheet, with the ability to create and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
● Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a track record of successfully navigating project challenges and obstacles.
● Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
● Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
● CAPM, PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
