Job description:
IT User Administration
The IT User administrator will be working on access requirements across software and web based tools for users or vendors supporting our Investment Bank.
The role will require the person to work shifts (adjusted monthly) Morning shift is from 7am to 4pm and late shift from 10am to 7pm
The requests would be provided to you via a service management tools, group mailbox or other systems. These are typically requests for
Requests to add/remove/change permissions to users for applications, shared drives and many internal and vendor provided applications.
Administration related to Active Directory/Email accounts
On-Boarding/Off-Boarding process and Country Transfer Requests
Changes to Approvers/Owners for shared drives, group mailboxes and applications
Duties include (but are not limited to)
- Categorize and prioritize service requests by utilizing ServiceNow and dbAccessGate Ticketing system to track tickets and provide up-to-date status and information.
- Prioritizing tasks at the customer's request
- Communicating with end users via phone /email using standard templates when changes are processed
- Updated/Creating process documentation
- Execution of special requests for migrations or other situations as requested by your team lead/manager
- Cooperation with various IT groups in client/vendor teams, primarily in Switzerland and other locations
- Produce/Run reports as required
- Gain detailed knowledge of all process flows and guide users accordingly
- Managing identities and access to variety of systems
- Creating user accounts and performing access control.
- Intensive work with Active Directory, various web applications and remote desktop to servers
- During onboarding, the line manager of a new joiner is kept up to date by the user administrator using a traffic light system.
Desired Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in the User Administration field or similar field
- Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Strong Microsoft operating System installation and troubleshooting skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be detail oriented and self-motivating
- Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
- Strong German/French and English verbal skills and written English Skills
- To provide support for on call escalations and doing root cause analysis of given issue
- To independently resolve tickets within agreed SLA of ticket volume and time
- To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
- Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts
- To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases
