WAND- Neurodiversity, Awareness, and Inclusion | HCLTech

Overview

We are NeuroDiverse (WAND) is an Employee Resource Group in Europe and Africa that exists to develop a more inclusive and supportive working environment for neurodiverse people. The primary objective of WAND is to raise awareness and the profile of neurodivergent employees' issues, support their career development and ensure there are visible role models and sponsors at different levels of the organization. By fostering an environment that appreciates neurodiversity, we can provide a safe space for everyone to express themselves and share their unique perspectives.

Testimonials

Being a late-diagnosed ADHD-er, my mission is to prove that there is nothing such as a normal brain, as we humans are neurodiverse. We all have our strengths and challenges.

Recognizing these makes us better equipped to collaborate and support one another to achieve the best results possible.”

For any person, it is important to feel a sense of belonging, purpose, contribution, acceptance and support. As a neurodivergent with autism, I have often felt that I have not fitted in or was made to feel different. To be honest, I still find my autism a challenge and once in a while a little restrictive but have learned beer coping strategies and also found "my people," where I feel a true sense of acceptance and belonging. Neurodiversity, in whatever shape it comes, needs to be embraced, understood and championed and I hope to champion other neurodiverse colleagues in HCLTech and indeed any colleague who needs support to help them thrive. We are stronger together!"
