Roles and Responsibilities

• Understanding of use case base test scenarios, review product requirements
• Estimate all testing activities and deep knowledge on QA methodologies and tools
• Understand functional and design specifications to determine and prepare automated test scripts and maintain test case suite
• Prepare reusable and scalable test automation framework
• Communicate application / product progress to senior leadership on regular basis
• To participate in functional as well as technical discussions with the client and team.
• Work closely with product owners and business analyst to ensure acceptance criteria are accurately captured and share feedback as needed.
• Develop test strategies, plans, and maintain test data
• Develop and continuously improve automated tests as new system features and enhancements are developed
• Execute automated tests and manage the resulting defect log through the point of defect fix validation
• Ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place and kept up to date
• Identify and report to product teams questionable functions, performance concerns, and inconsistencies
• Document and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework
• Assist in the identification, selection, and implementation of tools, technologies, and practices that support the overall QA process
• Contribute to accurate time estimates for automation test development
• Work with other QC team members to automate the execution and verification of reports

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years of professional experience working in Quality roles Experience in Selenium with Java, Cucumber, Gherkins
• Previous work experience as a Test Engineer in Linux environment or windows environment(.net).
• Ability to troubleshoot, read logs and think out of the box.
• Familiarity with testing tools including Selenium, Azure test plan, HP QC,
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
• Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.
• Hands on experience in CI/CD and experience with deployment pipeline using git, Jenkins, TFS, Azure devops
• Experience with Agile and scrum methodology
• Good Analytical skills
• Knowledge in Database
• Drive cross-squads/teams testing activities (like test scheduling, testing data alignment, environment alignment…)
• Meeting with the product design team in order to bring testing vision.
• Review and ensure the quality and testability of the acceptance criteria present in the Backlog
• Should have experience in writing test scripts following either BDD or TDD
• Usage of cucumber framework or any other framework which supports BDD
• Usage and handling experience of writing integration, regression test suites
• Should have the experience of integrating with the automation testing tool with the CI/ Cd pipeline
• Should have the basic understanding of Jenkins, maven
• You are experienced with various testing tools and techniques.
• You have experience with infrastructure and java development.
