Test Development Engineer
Qualification Required:
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Roles And Responsibilities
- Basic Hardware knowledge to work with design engineering team.
- Python and object oriented SW code development experience -3-5 years
- Prepare test design, including test flow and test coverage for new product:
- Work with ICT Engineer for ICT fixtures cost and budget request.
- Work with GML team for yield assessment and risk assessment, provide mitigation plan.
- Work with NPPM for product schedule and milestones. Work with EPM and MPM for mechanical and hardware design details.
- Supervise production line activities: Ensure test script, test stations and infrastructures are ready for any builds · Keep communicate with HW, Diag, Kernel, bootloader engineers for any test requirements and update, and coordinate to have test scripts updated.
- Enforce regression and failure analysis process to ensure production line yield meet goals.
- Review logs for any new build to make sure test coverage and configurations are according to PCAMAP and BOM.
- Work closely with test script developer for script change and enhancement to meet testing goals.
- Support failure analysis: Help to identify the root cause of any issues.
- Work with HW/SW/Diag/Bootloader engineers for debugging and validate fixes.
- Provide instructions on defect reproduce.
- Support RDT testing: Working closely with TNQ engineer to understand RDT requirements.

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
