Stress Engineer (Aerospace Industry)
Qualification Required:
- Bachelors/Master’s in Mechanical Engineer
Roles And Responsibilities
- Solid Mechanics, Material Behavior, Thermal Analysis, FEA, Stress Analysis
- Primary and Secondary airframe structures, Aerospace Stress Analysis, FAA and JAA certification requirements
- Failure analysis, finite elements, and methods of stress analysis, thermal effects, fatigue, and fracture mechanics.
- Develop & perform tests (stress, temperatures, material characterization), interpret test results and calibrate analytical models;
- PATRAN, NASTRAN and ABAQUS, Working knowledge of Solidworks
Required Technical And Professional Expertise:
- FEA, Stress, ANSYS, PATRAN, NASTRAN, ABAQUS, Solidworks
SolidWorks, Aircraft Structures, GDT
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
