Middleware Specialist
Qualifications & Experience
Experience 7-15 Years in Middleware Technologies Expertise in configuring, installing, and troubleshooting one or more of the Application Servers JBoss, Apache Tomcat, Wildfly on Windows, and Unix Platforms along with certification is preferred. Expertise in Configuring, installing, and troubleshooting the Web Servers such as IIS, Apache on Windows, and Unix Platforms SSL implementation on Web server and Application server level Linux and shell or other Unix scripting languages or Python Script is preferred. Prior experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting of Java applications. Hands-on experience in Java/ JEE technologies Should have knowledge of installation/upgrade/apply fixpacks of Jboss, Integration with Webservers. Knowledge in Messaging technologies like WebSphere MQ / JMS /ActiveMQ on Windows / UNIX environments. Understanding of latest technologies and tools in the JEE space and an ability to evaluate, select and propose tools and technologies to meet the requirements on Cloud Environment. Ability to identify and define non-functional requirements and design systems to meet the same. Experience working CI, CD and DevOps practices. Excellent understanding of software development methodologies and architectures. Should have collaborated with internal and external technical resources to develop overall implementation strategy and drive the solution, customization, and integration efforts. Experience in either of these areas is a definite add-on - Infrastructure sizing, Capacity. planning, Performance modeling, Cloud Computing.
Experience in interfacing with the customers. Experience in Architecture consulting engagements is a definite plus. Ability to mentor operations teams and guide them in resolving complex technical. issues encountered in projects.
Own communication for Incidents (SLA breaches, Application Major Incidents, Logistics issue) and responsible for communications with management Coordinate recurring issues and ensure long-term resolution through proper Incident and Problem Management Working with various teams like Infrastructure, development team to resolve, analysis of root cause for complex issues and outages.
ITIL Certification is preferred.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
