Unix Senior Track Lead - Shell Scripting
Job Summary
The Senior Track Lead will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Unix, Unix shell scripting, and Oracle PL/SQL track. The primary objectives include ensuring the successful execution of projects related to Unix technologies and Oracle databases to meet business requirements effectively.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the unix, unix shell scripting, and oracle pl/sql track within the organization.
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define project requirements and deliver solutions in alignment with business goals.
3. Provide technical expertise and guidance on unix, unix shell scripting, and oracle pl/sql best practices.
4. Monitor track performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary enhancements.
5. Develop and maintain track documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and operating procedures.
6. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team members' skills and knowledge in unix and oracle technologies.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to unix systems and oracle databases.
Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in unix operating systems and commands.
2. Strong knowledge of unix shell scripting languages such as bash or korn shell.
3. Experience in oracle pl/sql development and performance tuning.
4. Familiarity with oracle database concepts, architecture, and sql queries.
5. Solid understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
8. Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in Unix, Unix shell scripting, or Oracle PL/SQL would be a plus.
