Job description:

You will develop and recommend appropriate solutions and services that meet client needs and provide value
Analysis of existing process, and underlying system landscape and develop plans and roadmaps based on business drivers
You take over responsibility for the solution design of complex processes to make our services more efficient and define strategic and sustainable solutions within our IT infrastructure.
Regular communication with the team and clients to ensure client satisfaction, including the review of client initiatives and team goals, and identification of new business opportunities.
Act as a subject matter and IT expert to assist the business in identifying the right solution and implementation approach.

Skills

Profound experience in software development including in-depth knowledge and practical experience in programming languages and tools, especially Java, APIs (RESTful service), databases (relational DBs and No-SQL), CI/CD pipeline, eg Jenkins.
Experience in coordination with stakeholders and cross-team/ -departments and ability to succeed in a largely virtual organization, as well as in-depth knowledge and experience with agile values, principles, and methodologies (e.g., based on SCRUM or Kanban).
Excellent knowledge of architectural concepts, especially microservice architectural paradigm, container-based and event-based application design as well as knowledge and experience of cloud environments, ideally Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with modern SDLC tools - Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity, Open Shift - is a plus.
Understanding of Microservices, 12-Factor apps and developing for Cloud.
Core Java experience Data Structures, Algorithms and Design Patterns
Very good teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills (fluent in written and spoken English.
