Job description:
The Business Cloud Partner Architect is responsible for growing new license, subscription & support and services revenue for the BizCloud Suite of HCL Commerce and Marketing products in partnership with key global systems integrators (GSI s).
The GSI Architect will work with HCL business partners to match customer s requirements with the software and services solution, design solution architectures with both HCL and non HCL components, conduct product demonstrations, build Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and perform competitive analysis. The GSI Architect will work to build Joint solution Offerings and engage closely Center of Excellence and Practice teams.
The GSI Architect is a strategic role that takes a technical solution approach to identifying, progressing and closing both software and professional services opportunities in conjunction with HCL Software GSI architect. This position requires the ability to work independently and build relationships with key stakeholders in the partner community.
Experience -
10+ years of experience in enterprise software and services, as a technical advisor, Architect or systems implementation leader.
Prior experience with any of the following - HCL Commerce, HCL Marketing Cloud (Unica),HCL AfterMarket HCL Discover, HCL Digital Experience (or the products on which these were based IBM WebSphere Commerce, Unica, Tealeaf), or similar solutions in the industry.
A Bachelor s university degree.
Understanding of digital experience, marketing and commerce software and SaaS landscape.
Understanding of software composability and integration between packaged business capabilities (PBCs), microservices.
Understanding of cloud computing concepts and offerings from Azure, GCP and AWS.
Understanding of B2C and B2B and multi-channel sales models for Commerce, and the differences between the solution architectures for each.
Responsibilities:
Work with GSI partners to assess customer requirements against HCL BizCloud products.
To build joint solution offerings, engage closely with Center of Excellence ( COE) and Practice teams within assigned GSI s.
Respond to RFIs, RFPs in combination with GSI partners.
Prepare and present Commerce Software demos, architectural overviews, Proof Of Concepts (POCs) and Commerce Services/Implementation Methodology Overviews
Participate and contribute to Go To Market strategy sessions with GSI partners
Work with Senior Architects at GSI partners and Client accounts to design and sell the best approach to meeting the client s business objectives with HCL Software.
Travel onsite to GSI and Client locations to perform work and build relationships.
Have, or develop, industry expertise with deep understanding of the domain of specific industries and application of HCL Software to those industries.
