Job description:
JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for someone who applies practical knowledge of development and engineering to conceive, design, develop, test, and implement data extracts, transformation, migration, and uploads. This will be done using modern software development paradigms (e.g., agile, product, cloud). The right candidate must have experience with food beverage supply chain technology, with deep skills in SQL development in Windows and RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) environments. The ideal candidate will also have reportdashboarding development experience using MicroStrategy Cloud Environment.Primary Responsibilities:1. Is responsible for creating data mappings, extracts, transformations, data migration, and uploads.2. Configures supply chain technology for business use.3. Owns SQL and script programming, validation, testing, and debugging of applications after data loads.4. Gathers reporting requirements, designs reports, and develops reports for business use.5. Creates stories in JIRA backlogs and participates in agile ceremonies.6. Reviews and writes code that meets set quality gates.7. Createsupdates documentation for reproducible data loading and configuration.8. Interacts and coordinates work with other technical and testing groups in the organization.9. Coordinates team members in finding root-cause of problems and issue resolution.10. Recommends improvements to processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of the team.
- To manage the customer delivery / expectations and the technical team
- To architect| design and develop solution for product / project and sustenance delivery
- To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology.
- To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated.
- To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements.
