Job description:
1. Study of the existing specification and evaluate the quality of requirements across all levels System, sub-system, and component for Powertrain, Body, Chassis, ADAS, Infotainment, Telematics domains of vehicle
2. Get involved in requirement elicitation process with customer
3. Understanding the customer requirements and coordinate with off shore system team for timely execution
4. Able to translate high level customer requirements into System Requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, a logical and physical architecture using design and change management tools
5. Experience in System Engineering, Sys/SW/HW architecture design, System Test execution on HILS.
6. Advanced knowledge of DOORS /DOORS DNG or other requirement capture tools, including adding and modifying objects, linking, filtering, etc
7. Experience in JIRA tool and execution process.
8.Develop requirements based on inputs feature/business requirements, product specifications, reference documents, regulation, and functional objectives of various vehicle systems/subsystems/components
9. Develop requirements for system/subsystem/component for various categories like functional, performance, interface, calibration, diagnostics, mechanical, electrical etc.
10. Identify and maintain bidirectional traceability within the requirements as well as between requirements and the design artifacts that satisfy those requirements
11. Provide single point contact to the other vehicle electronic systems
12 Mentor and train other Systems Engineers/Requirement Engineers for requirement writing
13. Collaborate with customer engineering team for requirement reviews and approvals
14. 15+years of experience in automotive industry
- To troubleshoot and resolve tickets raised by the clients.
- To undertake training programs for new joinees
- To perform knowledge transition during project enhancements
- To document all the defined processes and the methods of resolving the ticket, troubleshooting, etc.
- To update self on latest technologies and related areas
