Job description:
We re seeking an 8+ yrs experienced Product Owner to help lead the Chaos Testing Team. Ideal candidate will have big ideas and strategies to test the resilience and stability of systems by intentionally introducing failures and unexpected conditions. The goal is to identify weaknesses and improve the system's ability to withstand and recover from disruptions. We need someone who has an entrepreneurial mindset for distilling business value and goals into roadmaps and refined product backlogs. Most important, we need a product manager who can help us build better products that people love to use.
Objectives of this role
Lead team scrums to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project
Incorporating Chaos testing strategies and improving Infrastructure/platform/product stability.
Collaborate with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
Work closely with product managers and business teams to create and maintain product backlog according to business value or ROI
Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management
Responsibilities
o Design software and business processes, including process modeling and user story grooming, in industrial verticals including the heavy platforms Cloud foundry and Kubernetes.
o Interpret business requirements and create capabilities in Jira Align, breaking them into features and functional/technical user stories in Jira.
o Refine the functional and technical user stories with the offshore and onshore Devops including the review of the test cases with SDETs and Manual testing team.
o Partner with multiple businesses enterprise-wide, MTS, and various stakeholders to define the current customer experience, identify areas of improvement, and use the inputs to create and drive product vision and Roadmap.
o Design and develop integration scripts and procedures using Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) tools and integrate with backend services.
o Define and resolve impediments in the Kubernetes platform impacting the customers, including the internal Gen 3 to Gen 4 migrations and the various component upgrades.
o Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Designing and building the Customer Journey for application or Kubernetes platform team using Grafana Dashboards;
Utilizing Microsoft Visio and Jira Align to develop solutions for migrating customers from Amdoc s Billing system to the Ericsson s Billing system without any impact to the customers;
Converting high level business requirements into features/user stories using Agile tools, Jira, and Jira Align;
Collaborating with business teams/customer teams to identify the pain points in the customer journey, and work on providing resolutions by creating and driving the vision and roadmap using Roadmunk
Verifying and validating data in the Facility Pricing tool to assess customer risk, collateral, profitability, and fees through SQL Queries using Oracle SQL Developer tool.
Experience and education requirements:
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field, and 7 years of relevant work experience.
- To effectively manage a team of project managers to ensure timely completion of all customer project deliverables assigned to each team member
