Senior Designer with Design for Manuf & Assembly (DFMA),CAD Design Skills,Creo
Job Summary
In this role as a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for creating designs using Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) principles, CAD design skills, and Creo software. You will contribute to the product development process by focusing on manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Utilize design for manufacturing & assembly (dfma) techniques to optimize product designs for efficient manufacturing and assembly processes.
2. Proficiently utilize cad design skills to create detailed design drawings and models.
3. Collaborate within team to ensure designs meet technical requirements and align with project timelines.
4. Apply creo software to develop innovative and functional product designs.
5. Conduct design reviews and provide recommendations for design improvements based on dfma principles.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in design for manufacturing and assembly.
Skill Requirements
1. Strong understanding and application of design for manufacturing & assembly (dfma) methodologies.
2. Proficiency in cad design skills, including creating 2d drawings and 3d models.
3. Experience with creo software for product design and development.
4. Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes to optimize designs for production.
5. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address design challenges effectively.
6. Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Certification: Professional certifications in Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA), CAD Design Skills, or Creo are a plus.
