Job description:
"Network Architect L3 Onsite
Perform architecture, design and engineering services for the Data Network Environment
Comply with Company s LAN / WAN / VPN / security strategies and requirements
Recommend LAN / WAN / VPN / security requirements based on industry best practices
Work with Company to review requirements for LAN / WAN / VPN / security services
Develop network design/configuration, engineering and security testing and integration procedures that meets requirements and adhere to defined policies
Work with Company to approve network design, and integration procedures
Prepare network design, engineering and schedules to support new and enhanced applications, architectures, and standards
Analyze and provide recommendations of improvements and upgrades for budget planning each year
Approve the scheduling of all changes to the network environment
Co-ordinate with Company and Company Entities and public carriers as requested for network infrastructure Services
Request and expedite WAN circuits, Equipment and Services as approved by Company
Provide escalated support for the Data Network environment
Develop and document network provisioning and administration policies
Perform architecture, design and engineering services for network environment technologies, including SD-WAN and cloud networks (e.g., Azure network, Express Route)"
- To ensure customer engagement / satisfaction and referenceability
- To plan for Program and Delivery Management and ensure that the agreed deliverables in terms of margin are met.
- To anchor process improvement/compliance (human error reporting) and other organizational initiatives (automation , Lean IT implemetation)
- To guide, manage, develop, engage the team therby ensuring employee retention
- To ensure upskill/ creation of resources through internal academies/ trainings and growth rotation
