Job description:
Identify and write UAT test scripts
Write SQL statements based on entity relationship diagrams and source to target mapping table definitions
Proactively ask questions to better understand data and business processes
Review data and reports in Power BI, ability to build simple reports a plus
Does not need to be able to create connections to Snowflake or build the datasets; CDO owns that
Prepare and execute user training on how to review our data dictionary, request access to user roles, run provided SQL queries in Snowflake, access and run PowerBI reprots and work on ad-hoc PowerBI data pulls
Provide feedback on data model against business requirements
Review scope & design and provide strategic POV to DTV Transformation Lead and guidance to the team
Experience with large complex DW project both as Solution Architect and PM
Need to have Solution Architect with PM experience to help provide POV for them to build the realistic plan / time commitment / schedules
Understand business needs and translate into key solution architecture
DW with ERP experience is critical with focus on Finance (COA, Revenue, etc.)
Snowflake experience is nice to have
Someone who is comfortable reviewing and joining data base tables to make sure they are logical, complete, data meets expectations, and knows how to put together report requirements,
Some conversion (source to target field mapping) references etc.
Execution and back office until we get reporting complete mid next year with TOT and Aspen coming onboard
Work directly with users to get up to speed and see what their reports will look like in new space
Create and present to users mockups
Positive if also has Oracle OTBi experience
- To bridge the gap between client needs and business goals by gathering requirements, crafting innovative solutions with deep domain/technology expertise, and driving successful implementations that propel strategic initiatives.
- To spearhead the architecture, design, and development (through a high-performing team) of innovative solutions for product/project & sustenance delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements
- To review architecture and design deliverables and ensure solutions adhere to industry best practices ,architectural standards simultaneously establish and enforce governance /compliance measures.
- To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated
