Job description:
C Solution Architect: (Offshore Onsite)
This is a senior role that requires a hands-on approach to solution architecture design and development for various technology programs in P&C insurance domain. This role requires to understand the current technical architecture of P&C insurance applications, upgrading or defining new architecture applications to support future and current applications. This role also be involved in software design and the integration of all applications in this domain with other systems in enterprise.
Skills sets Required:
Java J2EE tech stack, JSR 352 Batch
Micro services Architecture (Spring Boot), SPA (REACT JS REDUX), OpenShift /Docker Container
AWS & OpenShift Cloud
IBM MQ, Kafka, and Camel
Dev OPS Gitlab CI/CD, Elastic, Kafka, Grafana, Gradle, Java 17 etc.
Knowledge on Guidewire policy center / Claim / Billing center
Key Responsibilities:
Provide solutions to the business problems and translate functional requirements into a solution architecture that describes high level architecture and design
Develop design principles, architecture standards and guidelines, solution architecture and high-level design for various IT programs
Engage with various internal and external stakeholders and CTO domain architects and select most suitable solution options
Create solution artifacts and related architecture viewpoints for various stake holder s communication and documentation.
Identify various solution risks to the program management team and effectively support in managing the risks
Work with application design and development team in directing and guiding through solution implementation.
Conceptualize, design and develop proof of concepts / prototypes to validate proposed solution options.
Evaluating existing architecture systems and developing software and integration architecture. Troubleshooting technical issues and design flaws. Providing technical guidance to the team.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science or engineering
At least 10+ years of experience in technical architecture, software or product engineering.
At least 5+ years of significant experience with Insurance domain, in particular architecting integration solutions around policy administration or claims on public or private cloud.
Significant experience with defining and ensuring adherence to enterprise integration patterns and standards.
Experience creating a loosely coupled, services-oriented design that can scale for wide ranging services.
Experience supporting extensibility, to plug new modules or services without requiring re-design
Extensive experience working with, and enhancing, Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Development (CD) environments.
Working knowledge and experience on cloud solutions, cloud native application design, development, and migration of applications over to cloud using AWS / OpenShift
Should have worked on Agile scrum or kanban methodology and has strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in analysis and resolution of multi-dimensional enterprise-wide problems.
Demonstrated abilities to lead large, multi-million-dollar programs.
Hands-on ability to build reference architecture and reference implementations to lead and guide the development and engineering staff.
- To bridge the gap between client needs and business goals by gathering requirements, crafting innovative solutions with deep domain/technology expertise, and driving successful implementations that propel strategic initiatives.
- To spearhead the architecture, design, and development (through a high-performing team) of innovative solutions for product/project & sustenance delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
