Job description:
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Technical Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our network architecture to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business goals and contribute to the overall IT strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure network architecture
Assess and analyze network performance, making recommendations for improvements
Develop network policies, procedures, and standards to ensure best practices in security and compliance
Collaborate with application architects and system administrators to integrate network solutions with existing systems
Lead the planning and execution of network upgrades, expansions, and migrations
Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
Stay current with emerging network technologies and industry trends to ensure continuous improvement.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers
Document network designs, configurations, and procedures for operational continuity
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred)
7+ years of experience in network architecture and design
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.
Experience with multi-OEM networking solutions and devices, demonstrating an understanding of interoperability and integration across different vendor
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
Proficiency in network security practices and tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.) is a plus
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are highly desirable
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform).
Experience with network monitoring and management tools
Understanding of data center technologies and virtualization
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- To identify attrition percentage in accounts and take up initiatives to reduce the same
- To perform value addition activities (CIP & SIP) and implement strategies to improve productivity.
- To implement Profit Implement Plan (PIP), review Budget vs. Actual Cost and analyse the deviation to plan strategies to reduce deviation through levers like Automation & self-driven initiatives.
- To ensure retention of accounts that are due for renewal or maintain high level of customer satisfaction (ACSAT)
- To ensure that all responsibilities and project deliverables are completed within SLAs through effective team management and monthly reviews
- To ensure generation of an account level EE & EN revenue
- To ensure absorption of freshers as per the defined account targets
