Job description:
Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Business Systems Analyst with a deep understanding of systems modernization projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Benefits Payment Disbursement, Collection, Fraud Analysis and Prevention, Case Management, Claims Management, Personally Identifiable Information and Identity Management. Additionally, experience in the Insurance domain and skills in PowerApp automation are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals and objectives enforcing tighter scope management.
Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, particularly in state government operations and the Insurance domain.
Solution Design: Develop and propose solutions that meet business needs, leveraging best practices in the specified domains.
Documentation: Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps.
Project Management: Assist in project planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Testing and Validation: Develop test plans and conduct testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are free of defects. This includes:
Designing and executing test cases for Benefits Payment Disbursement, Collection, Fraud Analysis and Prevention, Case Management, Claims Management, PII and Identity Management
Ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and issues through to resolution.
Fraud Prevention Solutions: Design and implement fraud prevention solutions using products like LexisNexis.
PowerApp Automation: Develop and implement automation solutions using PowerApps to streamline business processes.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to improve business processes and systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience in project implementation.
Proven experience in Benefits Payment Disbursement, Collection, Fraud Analysis and Prevention, Case Management, Claims Management, Personally Identifiable Information(PII) and Identity Management.
Experience in the Insurance domain.
Experience in designing fraud prevention solutions using products like LexisNexis.
Skills in developing automation solutions using PowerApps.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
Experience with project management and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
