Job description:
Job Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or 5 years of related and equivalent work experience
VMware Cloud Foundation/vSphere Administration 7.x and 8.x Products (SDDC, AutoDeploy, NSX, VUM, SRM, vCenter, ESXi, Host Profiles, VVols, vDS, Kubernetes, vSAN)
HPE and Dell hardware rack mount and blade systems
HPE OneView & Dell Open Manage experience
Broad knowledge and experience with hardware and software systems, including their installation, maintenance and life cycles
Basic network troubleshooting experience
Familiarity with scripting or development language (PowerShell, JavaScript, Ruby etc.)
Position is for Sunday-Thursday evenings (second shift)
Able to be a point-of-contact for technical questions that may arise
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiar with the audit and compliance tenants of ITIL
Worked in the healthcare industry before
Experience working with a geo-dispersed team
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborative work with rolling out performance bulletin and discovered fixes both reactive and proactive
Collaborating with Engineering, Problem, Incident and Security management teams to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent
Virtual fleet review and update of current revision levels of all firmware, drivers and upgrades that are required in the VMware virtual environment
- To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
- To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases
- To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
- To independently resolve tickets and esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team.
- To provide support for on call escalations orL3 level support and doing incident and problem management
- Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviewsorparticipation in hiring drives.
