Job Description: Senior Technical Project Manager for Network Services Overview: We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager with 5-10 years of experience in the networking environment and at least 3 years of experience managing technical projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, scoping projects, and developing executable plans for delivery using Microsoft Project. This role involves documenting deployment processes, managing change requests, and liaising with carriers and vendors for installations. Strong networking and project management skills are essential. The team focus is around the end user experience. This includes the network infrastructure (Arista, CVP, EVPN) in all campuses and branches globally. MAN/WAN connectivity to buildings (IP MPLS), Secure Servers farms within buildings. All wireless infrastructure (DNAC, WLC, APWs). Product will also bring in TRC (Tech Roadmap Compliance) and service bulletin resolution. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage technical network service projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery according to project timelines and scope. Gather requirements, define project scope, and create detailed project plans using Microsoft Project. Document deployment processes and ensure all relevant procedures are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle. Support and manage change requests, working closely with carriers and vendors to coordinate installations and upgrades. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of network-related projects across various platforms and technologies. Apply technical expertise in networking technologies, including Cisco, F5, Arista, Juniper, McAfee, and Checkpoint, to guide project decisions and troubleshoot issues. Strong understanding of networking technology and cross-platform technologies like Arista, CVP, EVPN) MAN/WAN (IP MPLS). (DNAC, WLC, APWs). Utilize a strong understanding of networking protocols such as Ethernet, Spanning Tree, TCP/IP, and routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP). Manage project risks and issues, and escalate them as needed to ensure successful project outcomes. Adhere to ITIL framework and service management principles throughout project execution. Communicate e ectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on project progress and ensuring alignment with business goals. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their requirements are met within the project scope and objectives. Work within virtual global teams in a matrix organization, fostering collaboration across regions. Required Skills & Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a networking environment, with at least 3 years in technical project management. Certified Project Manager (PMI PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent). Strong understanding of networking technologies, including Cisco, F5, Arista, Juniper, McAfee, and Checkpoint. Deep knowledge of Ethernet, Spanning Tree, TCP/IP, and routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP). Proficient in Microsoft Project and project management methodologies. Strong understanding of ITIL, network security concepts, and service management principles. Excellent analytical skills for evaluating and resolving issues. Fluent in English (written and verbal) and the local language. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to e ectively communicate and collaborate across global teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a large-scale, global networking environment. Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within scope.
