Job description:
This candidate will be working with Non Integrated Entities, Internal ITAM team and different stakeholders.
IT Asset Management Analyst with AI/ML & Data Expertise
Department: IT Asset Management
Reports to: Senior Manager
Employment Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities:
IT Asset Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement and deployment to maintenance, tracking, and retirement. Ensure all assets are compliant with internal policies and industry standards.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Use advanced SQL and Excel techniques to query, analyze, and report on asset data. Prepare reports that provide insights into asset utilization, lifecycle status, and cost optimization.
Artificial Intelligence Implementation: Work with cross-functional teams to explore, develop, and implement AI solutions that can automate and optimize asset management processes (e.g., predictive maintenance, asset allocation, etc.).
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for improvement within the IT asset management process using data-driven insights and AI capabilities. Collaborate with IT teams to streamline workflows and enhance system integration.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive asset management documentation, including asset registers, compliance reports, and audits. Ensure the organization adheres to legal and regulatory requirements related to IT asset management.
Collaboration & Support: Work closely with IT, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate asset tracking, cost management, and reporting. Provide support in resolving asset-related issues and inquiries.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT asset management, with a strong focus on data analysis and process improvement.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in SQL for querying, managing, and reporting large datasets.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and other complex functions).
Working Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence applications, particularly in automation, data analysis, and predictive modeling.
Familiarity with asset management software and tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Snow) is preferrable.
Domain Knowledge: Strong background in IT asset management, including asset lifecycle management, tracking, auditing, and compliance.
Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities to address complex asset management issues and provide effective solutions.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical data and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with machine learning or AI-based analytics in the context of IT operations.
Knowledge of cloud asset management or asset management in virtualized environments.
Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
- To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
- To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions / Reopen Cases
- To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
- To independently resolve tickets & esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team.
- To provide support for on call escalations /L3 level support and doing incident & problem management
- Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update & management, Training freshers, coaching analysts & conducting interviews/participation in hiring drives.
