Why this event? Why now?
The Alphabet-HCLTech relationship has been gaining strength over the last ten years. And while we are proud of the work we have done and the value delivered, we know that there are a lot many areas we can partner with you on. This also assumes significance given the priorities of Alphabet. We therefore feel this is the opportune moment for Alphabet to experience the gamut of capabilities and experiences that we can deliver. And in the process also celebrate the people and teams behind this success.
Bangalore (also known as Bengaluru) is called the Silicon Valley of India, boosting a vibrant ecosystem of established companies, startups and the talent that fuels them. Both Alphabet and HCLTech have a large presence in this city, including the VOVO we have setup.
From Alphabet, we expect several of your peers to join us, including the Alphabet leaders we regularly engage with and leaders of various business units with which we work.
From HCLTech, our corporate leaders, along with the leaders from the ERS (Engineering and R&D Services), IT Infrastructure and Apps practices and various teams that deliver these high-impact programs will all be present. Through our ‘One HCL’ vision, you will experience the integrated set of capabilities that drive your products and programs.
In one word, memorable. India offers a rich tapestry of food, music, dance and places to visit. While the exclusive event will focus on our relationship and future potential, it won’t be all work.
You will have opportunities to interact with senior HCLTech leaders, meet with teams working on your programs, and witness our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) firsthand. Though the event spans two days, we are confident you will carry back with you a lifetime of experiences, memories and friendships.
Apart from meeting with HCLTech leaders and teams, it is a chance to visit our Yuva Kendra, where you will witness the way we impart life skills to youth from underprivileged backgrounds (e.g., computer repair, baking, refrigeration repair) and enjoy one of India’s most acclaimed musicians with global crossover appeal.
But the highlight of this event (apart from the song and dance extravaganza planned) is the visit to one of India’s most beloved cultural icons—the Taj Mahal, in Agra (about five hours away from Delhi). The must-visit destination for global leaders and tourists alike, the Taj Mahal is a tribute to one king’s love for his wife.
Adhering to the policies of Alphabet and HCLTech, you will need to make your travel and accommodation arrangements. However, everything else, including logistics, the Agra trip and everything in between, will be taken care of by HCLTech and our partners.

November 2024 (when we are planning this exclusive event) is one of the most beautiful months in Bangalore. The weather is pleasant, with just a slight nip in the air and occasional drizzle – perfect time to get together and celebrate the past and the future.
