Senior Design Lead
Job Summary
The Senior Design Lead is responsible for overseeing multiple design teams and establishing organizational design standards. This role is pivotal in driving innovation within the design process, ensuring that design efforts align with business objectives and contribute to creating exceptional user experiences.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Utilize Design Validation Techniques To Ensure That Software And Products Meet User-Friendliness And Intuitiveness Standards, Contributing To The Development Of Seamless User Experiences.
2. Lead And Mentor A Team Of Designers, Providing Expert Guidance And Ensuring The Delivery Of High-Quality Design Solutions That Align With Business Goals.
3. Present And Articulate Design Concepts Effectively, Playing A Crucial Role In Shaping The Overall Design Vision And Strategic Direction Of Projects.
4. Conduct Thorough Research On Industry Trends And Emerging Technologies, Driving Innovation And Excellence In Design Practices Across Teams.Skill Requirements
1. Expertise In Design Validation Methodologies And Processes.
2. Proficiency In User Experience Design Principles And Usability Testing.
3. Strong Understanding Of Design Tools Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Or Figma.
4. Excellent Communication Skills For Presenting Ideas And Collaborating With Stakeholders.Certification
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Usability Analyst (Cua), Ux Certification From Nielsen Norman Group, Or Similar Industry-Recognized Credentials.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
