Focuses have included:
- Using GitHub Copilot and Power Platform Copilot to improve HCLTech developer productivity
- Using HCLTech’s scale AI framework on OpenAI to automate authoring of FDD, TDD and Test Scripts writeups
- Developing proof of concepts for customers to help them test Copilot use cases — and offering advisory services (e.g. Copilot hackathons) to develop new scenarios
- Leveraging Copilot Center of Excellence (CoE) as an advisory service to help customers promote Copilot to developer communities
- Developing more migration IP — such as SFDC to Dynamics migration or legacy to Power Platform migration, where OpenAI service on Azure is helping with code and data migration activities
HCLTech is using Microsoft Copilot AI to improve developer and consultant productivity. By automating the authoring of test script writeups and functional and technical design documents, we aim to make our consultants more efficient.
We also have a Copilot advisory service, and we’re actively conducting proofs of concept with customers in the healthcare, telco and retail industries.
Our dedication to continuous improvement and value addition is shown through our Proven Process delivery framework, which applies Agile principles to deliver quality projects, on time and on budget.
Through DevOps services and customer success management, we promise long-term satisfaction and success — a goal further evidenced by our vigilant oversight and talented team committed to fulfilling the specific needs of each project.
- Secured executive sponsorship and set clear objectives and goals outlining how Copilot will be used by the colleagues in the company
- Ensured data management and strategy is in place and data is ready for indexing
- Carried out a security audit to prevent oversharing, ensure compliance, and subsequently address data security and data access questions
- Ensured right licenses are in place to be allocated to the users
- Identified champions who are enthusiastic about the tool and can help evangelize it within the wider organization
- Identified extension scenarios and subsequently designed and built plugins to support the scenarios
- Analyzed usage reports to observe adoption and engagement and subsequently identify optimization techniques
