Jobbeschreibung:
Role Vmware & VSAN Architect, Administrator
Location Bengaluru.
Responsibilities:
As a VMware Architect and Administrator you will be Tier 1 / Tier 2 support of the Business systems in a 24x7 follow the sun model.
This will entail alert management, OS troubleshooting and working to restore service in a robust Enterprise Environment.
Monitoring, Troubleshooting of Linux, Unix , VMware based systems
Alert & Incident management
Working with clients across our Business Units to maintain and restore service
Working with Hardware teams to maintain the physical server estate
Documentation of processes and procedures for the team
Basic Qualifications:
6-8 years of VMware, VSAN Unix, Linux systems administration experience
Strong core OS & Network troubleshooting experience
Academics Engineering Graduate.
Mandatory skills:
Expert in build, troubleshooting of Virtualization concepts and VMWare products VSAN, ESxi, Vcenter
Experience in Linux Administration
Networking knowledge/skills
Incident management experience
An automation-first mindset
Optional skills:
Prior experience in the Financial Service Industry is a plus, Prior Enterprise experience is a plus
Relevant certifications are a strong plus
Programming / Scripting Bash, Shell, Python is strong plus.
- To provide support for on call escalations and doing root cause analysis of given issue
- To independently resolve tickets within agreed SLA of ticket volume and time
- To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
- Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update & management, Training freshers, coaching analysts
- To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions / Reopen Cases
